Job Description

Blade and Rack Server, Microsoft, Linux and Virtualization
Installation, Configuration & maintenance of Server & Storage systems from Dell EMC/HPE/Cisco
Installation, Configuration of Hyper-Converged Solutions [Nutanix, EMC]
Planning and doing firmware and hardware upgrade on server, storage and SAN switches
Installation, configuration of VMware, Microsoft and Linux OS with all these platforms
Linux administration to include networking, storage, multipath configurations
Active Directory design, migration, implementation expertise
Senior knowledge and experience in Exchange implementation / migrations /O365
Knowledge of DNS, Group Policy, Server 2012 R2/2016, server automation, and PKI
VMWare Server Virtualization
Advanced experience with the following VMware and Virtualization concepts: VMware vRealize Operations Manager, vDistributed Switches, vMotion/Storage vMotion
Able to create, maintain & deploy templates, Create clones & customization profiles, High Availability (HA) & Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), Host profiles Desktop and Application Virtualization (VMware, Citrix)
Cloud Computing: AWS, VMWare and Openstack
SAN Storage, Replication and Backup
Experience with the deployment and management of storage hardware:
3PAR, EMC, Isilon IQ, iDRAC configuration & management and NetApp NAS appliances
SAN hardware and technologies: EMC/Brocade, SAN Directors, Fibre-Attached storage, iSCSI, RAID levels and best practices
FC and iSCSI to configure and maintain SAN environments
Familiarity with Fiber Channel zoning concepts
Cisco MDS and Brocade administration, NPIV & Access Gateway Mode
Testing and evaluation of new hardware and software components deployment
Lead the project with data migration within the country and different geography locations
Assisted in implementation and testing of disaster recovery methodology and procedures
Provided technical assistance to resolve any issue with OS/Server/Storage Systems
Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting, problem determination and resolution
Installation and Configuration of different backup & Archiving solutions like Veritas Backup Exec + Netbackup, Enterprise Vault etc.
Integrate the backup and backup replication using HPE StoreOnce & EMC data Domain and offloading to tape for archival.
Design and/or implement Disaster Recovery Solution based on SRM, Veeam & Storage replication etc.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deliverable deadlines
Upkeep of customer satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the engagement.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with different levels of stakeholder
Proven time management and documentation skills
Relevant certifications/qualifications will be beneficial
