Qualifications :
Assistant Executive Engineer (Elec.)
Qualification : Should possess/acquired BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering of a recognized University/Institution (Recognized by AICTE) or pass in AMIE (Section A & B Electrical) examination.
Assistant Engineer (Elec.)
Qualification : Should possess/acquired BE of a recognized University or AMIE (India) qualification in Electrical and Electrical & Electronics.
Assistant Engineer (Civil.)
Qualification : Should possess/acquired BE in Civil Engineering of a recognized University or pass in AMIE sections A&B (Civil).
Assistant Accounts Officer
Qualification : Should possess/acquired M.Com or MBA (Finance) of a recognized University or pass in ICWA or CA. Junior Engineer (Elec.) Should possess/acquired Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering of a Polytechnic of the State of Karnataka.
Junior Engineer (Civil)
Qualification : Should possess/acquired Diploma in Civil Engineering of a Polytechnic of the State of Karnataka.
Assistant
Qualification : Should possess/acquired Bachelors Degree of a recognized University in the State of Karnataka.
Junior Assistant
Qualification : Should have PUC qualification or Diploma in Accountancy and Auditing or in Accountancy and Costing awarded by the State Council of Vocational Education, Government of Karnataka.
Age : 18-40 yrs
Application Fee (Non- Refundable): The application fees prescribed for applying to the said posts is as follows:
i. Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Category and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
ii. Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
Selection : Recruitment to these posts will be made by selection strictly on merit based on the marks secured in the Online Aptitude Ten only, duly following reservation policy of Government of Karnataka.

Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited is a registered company under the Companies Act, 1956 was incorporated on 28-7-1999 and is a company wholly owned by the Government of Karnataka with an authorised share capital of Rs. 1000 crores. KPTCL was formed on 1-8-1999 by carving out the Transmission and Distribution functions of the erstwhile Karnataka Electricity Board. KPTCL is headed by a Chairman and Managing Director at the Corporate office. He is assisted by four functional Directors. The Board of KPTCL consists of a maximum of twelve directors.
