KVS Ahmedabad Region came into existence in 1976. As on date it is one of the Twenty five regions of KVS located at Gandhinagar. The Regional head quaters has juridisction over 46 KVs located in Gujarat, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Diu. The RO caters to the needs of 34983 students and 2094 staff of the vidyalayas. Of 46 KVs 18 are in Defence Sectors, 19 in Civil Sectors and 9 in Project Sectors
