Job Description
Identifying new sales leads
Pitching products and/or services(paid membership)
Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers.
Day-to- day duties typically include:
- Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new vendors and categories
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Attending conferences, exhibitions, and industry events
- Get in touch with prospective accredited businesses within a designated market area
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments/features with the company’s products
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Provide regular feedback to senior management about marketplace and competitor activity
- Manage ongoing contests on the website
- Maintaining existing vendor accounts and keeping them updated
