KINDERGARTEN PRINCIPAL

• The main job responsibilities are to ensure the smooth daily operations of the Centre through effective leadership and management skills. You will be reporting to the trust members.
  
• Qualification: Relevant PG degree / PhD early childhood education
  
• Experience: significant Montessori or nursery experience
  
• Position: Full Time, Permanent
  
• Location: Kochi, Elamakkara
  

• To plan and implement the curriculum to ensure a well-run, purposeful, engaging and child-centred programme responsive to children’s needs.
• Enforcement of all policies and ensure compliance with all legislation.
• Good knowledge and understanding of latest practices in early education.
• Work with the teachers to create a learner-centered environment.
• Develop, Plan and Execute everyday lesson plans and activities according to the school curriculum. Facilitate and guide student's learning/play and be flexible to their needs
• Maintain good and friendly relationship with student and their parents
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the centre
• Observe and record development progress and well being of students
• Have patience and passion to teach and deal with young children
• Pedagogical, team player, committed, dedicated, proactive
• Will need to prepare and follow fun age-appropriate activities according to lesson plan
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge and understanding of IT, computers and internet is a must.
