Konkan Railway invites application for the position Deputy Chief Operations Manager
Notification for the post of Dy. Chief Operations Manager (Dy.COM) on Deputation basis at Belapur.
1. Name of the Post: Deputy Chief Operations Manager
2. Deputation and Term of Deputation: 3 year normal term of deputation. Extendable upto five (05) years.
3. Scale of Pay: JAG, in 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-12
4. Pay and Allowances: The officer will draw pay and allowances as per DOPT instructions. which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railways plus deputation (duty) allowance.
5. Eligibility, Experience Specific Requirements:
(i) Group 'A ' IRTS officer, should have completed minimum 7 years of Group 'A ' service and above. Presently working in JAG/Sr Scale.
(ii) Should have experience in train operations. Officer having experience of Goods movement will have added advantage.
6. Responsibilities: The officer will be responsible for train operation on KRCL. He/She will assist for day to day planning of freight and passenger movement and also long term planning related train operation for ensuring optimum utilization of assets and increasing traffic. He will coordinate with the service departments, looking after various assets and adjoining Zonal/Divisions of Indian Railways/Railway Board for improving productivity of the assets.
7. Perks and Benefits: The officer will draw pay which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railways plus deputation (duty) allowance.
