Indian Council of Agricultural Research -New Delhi, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India has sanctioned a project namely KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA to Shramabharati for district Jamui in 1994 with its HQ at Khadigram in jamui. It is fully financed by ICAR – New Delhi and being run under administrative control of shramabharati Khadigram an voluntary organisation established by late Dhirendra Majumdar a close associate of Rashtrapita Mahatama Gandhi. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) came in existence in 1994 under supervision of padma bhushan, a great Gandhian thinker late Sri Acharya Ramamurti the then, Director of Shramabharati. It is a Farm Science Centre which act as a knowledge centre of Agriculture technology being promoted for overall development of farming community and the district as a whole
