A. Project entitled: Detection of Plasmodium falciparum as infectious reservoirs using gametocyte biomarkers in relation to malaria control and elimination. - (PI: Dr. Ram Das, Scientist ‘C’)
a. Essential / Desirable qualification and Experience:
b. Essential Qualification: 12th pass in biological science subjects and two years diploma in medical laboratory technician, or one year DMLT plus one year required experience or two years laboratory experience.
c. Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. in microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences and experience in bioinformatics, molecular biology.
d. Duration: 31.08.2021
B. Project entitled: Development of an informative tool for early detection of placenta iron status and risk of malaria: a cost-effective approach to reduce adverse pregnancy outcomes. -(PI: Dr. Hari Shankar, TO- A)
a. Essential / Desirable qualification and Experience:
b. Essential Qualification: 12th pass in biological science subjects and two years diploma in medical laboratory technician, or one year DMLT plus one year required experience or two years laboratory experience.
c. Desirable Qualification: Candidate having working experience in malaria microscopy, immune-histochemistry and ELISA technique would be preferred
d. Duration: Three years
4. The selected candidate should be able to work in remote/tribal areas in the selected study site of the project (Outside of Delhi).
5. The selected candidate would work for the first year in Delhi and subsequent years i.e. second and third year
would be spent on study site i.e. outside of Delhi.
