Project entitled “Providing Laboratory support for surveillance of Japanese encephalitis in India”
Position Code : PC-2
Project Co-ordinator /1 Post
Educational Qualification : M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology / Virology /Life sciences / Biotechnology or MD in Microbiology / Community Medicine or Masters in Public Health.
Experience : Experience in co-ordination of research / public health projects / programmes. Experience in handling line-lists. Monitoring quality of laboratory tests. Supervision of field staff.
Maximum Age Limit : 40 years
Emoluments : Rs. 40000
Selected candidate will be stationed at King George Medical University, Lucknow
Position Code : PC-3 Laboratory Co-ordinator /No. of Post : 01
Educational Qualification : M.Sc. in Microbiology / Virology or B.Sc MLT with 2 years experience Experience : Experience in a diagnostic Medical Microbiology / Virology laboratory. Experience in data entry (line-lists) for any infectious disease public health programme.
Maximum Age Limit : 35 years
Emoluments : Rs. 30,000
Selected candidate will be stationed at Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh.

Educational Qualification : B.Sc. with 2 years experience Experience : Experience in data entry and database management for any infectious disease public health programmes. Experience in data collection using standardized proforma/formats. Fluent in use of MS Office, Excel and/or MS Access. Experience with Epi-Info would be considered a bonus. Experience in implementation of research/ public health projects, or programmes.
