Job Description

Job Role: Laboratory Technician

Research project "Establishment of blood bank and blood grouping unit in dogs" under mega project "DBT- GADVASU Canine Research Centre and Networks" funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India.

1.Name of post and Emoluments: Technician (on contract) @ Rs. 12000/- per month, out of which ESI and EPF deduction will be made as per university rules

2.Qualifications and eliqibility conditions for Technician:10+2/ Senior Secondary of any stream. B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology with two years experience as Laboratory Technician or Diploma (two years duration) in Medical Laboratory Technology with three years experience as Laboratory Technician . Matric level certificate of Punjabi language; however in case of non availability of suitable candidate, other candidates will be considered.

3.Job Responsibilities: i) Care and maintenance of equipment, electrical gadgets and laboratory.

ii) Help in collection, handing, preservation and analysis of biological material/clinical samples

iii) To maintain record of chemicals, reagents, kits, reports and data.

iv) Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Pl.

Age Limit:
Candidate should be in age group of 18-37 years on the last date of application.
