Assistant Manager / Consultant job position in Lakshadweep Development Corporation Ltd

1. Assistant Manager (Repairs-Shipping) - 1 No. (Permanent)

Qualifications: B.Tech. / B.E. in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture / Mechanical Engineering from recognized university : Work experience of 1 to 2 years in the shipping sector preferably in ship repairs. Desirable : Knowledge of repair works to be performed on board vessel while afloat and in dry dock. : Knowledge of ISM and ISPS implementation in ships.

Age limit for direct recruits : 45 years

2. Assistant Manager (Ship Repairs-Technical) - 1 No. (Permanent)

Qualification : B.Tech. / B.E. in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture / Mechanical Engineering from recognized university : Work experience of 1 to 2 years in the shipping sector preferably in ship repairs. Desirable : Knowledge of repair works to be performed on board vessel while afloat and in dry dock. : Knowledge of ISM and ISPS implementation in ships.

Scale of pay : Rs. 9300-34800/- GP Rs. 4600/-

Age limit for direct recruits : 45 years

3. Assistant Manager (Finance) - 1 No. (On contract)

Eligibility : ICWA / MBA (Finance) with two years experience.

Remuneration : Consolidated pay Rs. 40,000/-

Age : Not exceeding 45 years

4. Consultant (Materials) - 2 Nos. (On contract)

Eligibility : B.Tech. (Mechanical) / MBA (Materials Management) : Minimum two years experience in materials management division preferably in a ship repair / building yard or ship management organization having knowledge of purchase / procurement. Desirable : MBA in Logistics &Supply Chain Management : Knowledge of guidelines and rules of Govt. of India as regard to procurement of materials and services will be an added advantage

Age limit : Not exceeding 45 years

Remuneration : Consolidated pay Rs. 45,000/-

5. Manager (Coconut Processing)- 1 No.(On contract)

Qualification : Eligibility : B.Sc. Degree / Diploma in Agricultural Science OR Diploma in Value added products in Coconuts OR Certificate course in Agricultural Science from Government recognized institution : 2 years experience in food processing industries and related food industries Desirable : Degree / Diploma in Food Processing / Food Technology : Knowledge in computer applications

Remuneration : Consolidated pay Rs. 40,000/-

Age limit : Not exceeding 50 years

6. Consultant (Fisheries) - 1 No. (On contract)

Eligibility : Masters Degree in Industrial Fisheries; OR Masters Degree in Fisheries Science OR Diploma in Fishery Science from the Central Institute of Fisheries Education : 2 years experience in running a fish processing unit or marine products Desirable : Degree / Diploma in Food Technology

Remuneration : Consolidated pay Rs. 40,000/-

Age limit : Not exceeding 50 years

7. Accounts Clerk - 1 No. (On contract)

Eligibility : B.Com with 1 to 2 years of experience

Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years

Remuneration : Consolidated pay Rs. 12,000/-

8. Data Entry Operator - 2 Nos. (On contract)

Eligibility : Plus Two : Diploma in Computer Application Desirable : Minimum one year experience as Data Entry Operator
