• You will be building web-based applications and web sites for commercial, non-profit and government clients.

• Some skills/experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, SQL and/or PHP will be useful but if you're bright, eager to learn, and willing to help out in every way that you can, this could be the place for you to flourish regardless of what you know today.

• We prefer candidates with a bachelors degree. 
  
• A four-year computer science degree, a degree in information science or an engineering degree in a technical field gets our attention although relevant experience can substitute for formal training. 
  
• The best candidates are passionate about what they do, eager to contribute to the team and are easy to get along with.
  
• You will be building web-based applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. 
  
• The ideal candidate would be familiar with Laravel but it's ok if you haven't used it. (It's great, you'll love it). 
  
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL and PHP is expected at this level. 
  
• A leaning towards the back-end development is the best fit for the role but we don't pigeon hole people.
  
• We are committed to the LAMP stack in particular and open source in general. 
  
• When using a content management system we deploy Drupal. 
  
• We value learning, new ideas, and creative solutions. 
  
• The deadlines are realistic and developers have a wide latitude to explore technologies and techniques.
