Job Description

TaxBlock is a fintech company that focuses on investment management, trading, fintech, stocks, income tax & GST, US tax, personal finance for individuals and SMEs & large companies, investment management, trading, fintech, stocks, new business set up, ROC compliances, other business taxation support, digital signature certificate, and legal document preparation. TaxBlock is a mission-oriented early-stage fin-tech startup that is building a suite of carefully tailored financial products and delivery mechanisms to fulfill the aspirations and needs of individuals and SMEs/corporates across India.

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Prepare the appropriate legal documents for trial or court proceedings
2. Evaluate new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors
3. Represent the company in legal proceedings
4. Design and oversee the company's policy and position on legal matters
5. Protect the company against legal risks and violations
6. Examine the legal issues related to new products and services
7. Negotiate deals on behalf of the company
8. Guide management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 15th Jul'21 and 19th Aug'21

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in law

2. Licensed to practice law from the State Bar Association

3. Should have experience as a corporate lawyer

4. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

5. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
