Job Description
- The Lead Generation Specialist will generate qualified sales opportunities for Sales Representatives to drive revenue.
- The Lead Generation Specialist receives immediate supervision and detailed assignments with specific instruction, scripts.
- This individual will be measured by outbound call volume goals and leads generated metrics.
Essential Functions
- Generates new business opportunities by outbound phone prospecting.
- Listen to and identify business needs, understand pain points, and position Edgenuity/Compass Learning as a compelling solution.
- Qualify prospects over the phone using an established criteria, and pass opportunities to sales.
- Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in the CRM, NetSuite.
- Work continually towards self-development, including ongoing and current knowledge of customer service sales procedures and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for prospects to learn more about Edgenuity solutions by asking leading questions.
- Build rapport quickly and generate prospect interest in connecting and learning more about Edgenuity by speaking with an Education Consultant.
- Act as a conduit between marketing, sales, and customers or prospects, answering questions and directing customers as appropriate to the correct resource within the organization.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly metrics with volume and quality of leads generated.
- Performs other duties upon request.
