Lead Strategist, Trust and Safety, Cloud
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, Data Mining or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas; Security Research, Forensics, Risk and Fraud Investigation and/or Internet Industry.
- Experience working with Python, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Perl and/or PHP.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in one of the following areas; network security, security operations, incident response, intrusion detection systems, and/or policy enforcement/user trust/risk/fraud investigation/product abuse.
- Project management experience.
- Understanding of TCP/IP concepts, application protocols and knowledge of database structures and/or working with Unix/Linux.
- Demonstrated process improvement, prioritization and multitasking capabilities.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking through data-driven decisions, as well as the technical know-how.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, identify and prevent/mitigate activities such as; intrusion attempts, Botnets, DDoS, etc originating from Google Cloud Platform.
- Keep up with industry trends, identify product vulnerabilities, and recommend detection/prevention strategy adjustments based on trends and patterns.
- Lead and participate in special projects/initiatives. Innovate and implement large-scale quality improvements to processes and/or systems by conducting data analyses and making recommendations.
- Increase efficiency through processes and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups such as Engineering and Product by exposing product vulnerabilities and providing feedback on systems/tools/process in order to increase automation while providing a better experience for our users.
