Qualification : A candidate should possess :-(a) A Graduate Degree in Ayurveda from an University established by law or a Statutory Board / Faculty / Examining Body of Indian Medicine or its equivalent as recognised made in Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. (b) A Post graduate qualification in the subject / speciality concerned included in the scheduled to Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 is also mandatory. (c) Adequate knowledge of Sanskrit.

Age : 21-40 Yrs

Fee : A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Person with Disability (whose permanent disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee.

Method of Selection : The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Lecturer will be made on the basis of written test and career marking. The career marking will be for 30% (10% each for class 10th, class 12th and BAMS) and 70% for written test. The written test will be for 70% in accordance with the syllabus. The written examination shall be of two papers carrying 150 marks each with duration of one and half hour for each paper. The questions will be of multiple choice patterns (150 questions of one mark each).

Place of Examination : The written examination will be held at Cuttack.
