Responsibilities

To teach the classes assigned .
To undertake other duties assigned by management.
To be informed about the aims and curriculum of the area in which he/she teaches.
To be aware that the appraisal documents encompass what is expected of teachers in relation to their teaching practices.
To maintain records of work covered by his/her class(es).
To correct regularly and promptly all assignments completed by students.
To keep accurate, complete records of the progress of each student.
To be available for all parent-teacher conferences

The mission of GARGI COLLEGE is to put in place a learning environment that is stress free for university students while they are advancing their academic pursuits. Gargi College is where knowledge leads is established under in pursuance of the objectives of Anantha Lakshmi Rama Rao (ALRR) Educational Society. This College is an academic association, an action-oriented collaborative, and an educational centre for University Education. Its goals are to encouraging quality education and developing employability skills among undergraduate, graduate, and post graduate students. The college involves national and international experts and other educational institutes that work towards overall development of society and its members.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

To develop as centre of learning in the field of Commerce, Economics , Pure Sciences, and other Social Sciences through collaboration with regional, and international universities and institutes of higher learning;

To extend tuition support to the students of different study programmes from national and international Universities;

To take up, lead, and conduct research; and encourage research in Economics and other social sciences;

To establish relationships locally, regionally and internationally with different entities and to build programs such as student exchange/study abroad programs, internships and scholarship.

To organize workshops, conferences and activities to cultivate and maintain school’s relationship with its students and external partners.

To identify external events/activities/conferences beneficial to the school’s students/faculty while encouraging them to take part and serve as school’s Ambassadors.

To properly implement an action plan for increasing awareness of school’s education and research endeavours;

To develop partnerships with industry and business in the country, and collaborate with them for gaining practical knowledge from experience

To establish a solid Alumni Association through varied activities and programs.
