Lecturer

Discipline : Homoeopathic Pharmacy

Qualification : 1. PG Degree in Homoeopathy in the concerned subject included in the second schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973 

Desirable : (1) Publication and experience in Research; (2) Working knowledge of Computers.

Discipline : Forensic Medicine & Toxicology

No. of Post : 01 (ST)

Qualification : 1. Post Graduate qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (preference shall be given to persons holding PG Degree in Homoeopathy in the concerned subject) OR PG Medical Degree in concerned subject recognized by IMC Act 1953. 

Desirable : (1) Publication and experience in Research; (2) Working knowledge of Computers.

Pay : Pay Band-(III), Rs.15,600 -39,100 with GP Rs.5400 plus NPA.

Medical Officer

Assistant Research Officer

Yoga Instructor

Qualifications : 1. A Degree in Yoga with minimum 55% of marks from a recognized University under UGC Act. OR Any Graduate with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University under UGC Act with Diploma in Yoga Education/Yoga Studies/Yoga Science after graduation of at least one year duration from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks. 2. Practical Teaching experience in Yoga in a reputed Yoga Institute for a minimum period of one year. 3. Practical ability to perform Yogic practices, for which skill test will be conducted.

National Institute of Homoeopathy was established on 10th December 1975 in Kolkata as an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, presently under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. The Institute was affiliated to the University of Calcutta up to session 2003-04 and from 2004-05 has been affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata. This Institute, conducts the degree course in Homoeopathy i.e., Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery [B.H.M.S.] since 1987 and Post - Graduate course i.e. Doctor of Medicine in Homoeopathy [M.D. (Hom.)] since 1998. At present PG course is offered in six subjects viz. Organon of Medicine, Materia Medica, Repertory, Homoeopathic Pharmacy, Practice of Medicine and Paediatrics.
