Legal Mentors/Senior Research and Documentation Officer job opportunities in Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) on contract basis
Legal Mentors
Qualification: Lawyers empanelled with the District Legal Services Authority or lawyers with experience of taking up pro-bono legal aid cases. Ability to mentor Legal Fellows. Represent cases referred by Prayas or the District Legal Services Authority.
Nature of Appointment: Advisory (upto 3 years, starting December 1, 2018)
Compensation:Rs. 10,000 per month
Location: Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Latur
Senior Research and Documentation Officer
Qualification: Past experience in research and/or documentation. Excellent skills in written English and Marathi. Master’s degree in Social Work preferred. Preference to be given to persons with prior experience of research and documentation in the field of criminal justice. Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently. During contract period, no other employment shall be taken without the prior permission of the employer
Nature of Appointment: Contract (3 years, starting November 1, 2018)
Salary: Rs 30, 000 onwards (Negotiable, subject to experience)
Location: Mumbai
Note: The above qualifications may be relaxed in exceptional circumstances.
