Job Profile/Key Responsibilities:

•Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.

•Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.

•Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as ntp,smtp,bind, Apache,etc.

•Experience installing and configuring Redhat Satellite server and Nagios Monitoring Fusion and xi server.

•Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS,etc.

Experience in the installation, configuration, and administration of components in a large environment centered around best practices, to include vCenter, VMware Update Manager, vCenter Operations Manager, vCenter Orchestrator, vCenter Cloud Automation Center, vCenter Site Recovery Manager

•Experience with server consolidation / virtualization for HW reduction and site migrations via V2V and P2V

•Experience in upgrading ESXi hosts and VM guests using VMware Update Manager

•Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.

•Manage infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools.

• Familiar with incident/Problem management and ITIL governed tools like service now and remedy
