Job Summary

·         Will be working on Linux solutions (mailing, archival, monitoring soln, etc)

·         Will also be required to coexist with other windows OS for troubleshooting

·         Will also do ‘Action Plan’ creation, ‘Impact Analysis’ for migration, etc

·         Need to work Remote from office or need to visit customer onsite.

·         Skill set development for upcoming engineers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Diagnosing system problems
Administering Postfix, Send mail, Instances.
Installing and maintaining Open Source based Tech Stack in production environments
Performing OS and application up-grades on existing systems
24X7 automated Site monitoring for Performance & high availability
Capacity Planning & Hardware Sizing
2 years of experience with the administration of Linux based Systems, including Linux-configuration/installation/ maintenance knowledge.
Proficient with UNIX Scripting languages like Perl, UNIX Shell, AWK, etc.
Excellent Knowledge and experience with Redhat or CentOS Linux
Good knowledge of Apache and Tomcat
TCP/IP, Networking and VPN is desirable
AWS:
Infrastructure services like EC2, VPC, ELB, EBS, S3, SES, RDS, Elastic Cache, and Cloud Front

Excellent Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
Experience administering a production web environment
Knowledge of IP networking, load balancers, firewalls and experience troubleshooting these
Strong understanding of puppet
Proficiency with scripting languages (python, ruby, perl, php)
Monitoring - nagios, sensu, graphite
Some RDBMS experience preferably postgresql
Version control (svn, git)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Commitment to continual improvement and learning
Must be efficient & self motivated
Participation in on-call rotation

Linux and Windows systems (laptops / desktops / servers - both physical and virtual, in house and third party) that support IT Infrastructure needs.
Networking devices that make up the core IT Infrastructure.
Storage and backup (both locally hosted (ReadyNAS) and cloud-based solutions (Box, Drive) devices that make up the core IT Infrastructure.
Power devices that make up the core IT Infrastructure. In-house and/or third party monitoring devices / applications to ensure IT Infrastructure is meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA).
All documentation required to support these systems per
Company`s organizational processes, procedures, and industry
best practices.
Ability to Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure
hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in
accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated
approaches for system administration tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Must be having good knowledge in networking, server/ storage provisioning
· Must be able to prepare reports to SBA as well as customer
· Must be knowledgeable in ticketing system used for creating and handling incident
records.
