in National Health Mission (NHM), Assam - Medical and Health Recruitment Board on contractual basis

Total No. of Posts : 462 (Reservation of Posts:  Open Category – 281, Reserved for OBC/MOBC- 116, Reserved for SC- 35, Reserved for ST (P)-30)

Educational Qualification:
The minimum qualification is MBBS Degree from any recognized university and registered under Assam Medical Council.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 30000/- to 110000/- + GP of 12700/- per month and other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Age: A candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 43 years as on 01/01/2017 as laid down in Govt. O.M. No. ABP 06/2016/4 dated 03/03/2016 and ABP 06/2016/07 dated 26/09/16. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved category as per existing provision.

Application fee:

i. Application must be accompanied with required application fee of Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) only for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidate.

ii. Candidate having BPL certificate: Nil

Application fee should be deposited only through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt”

It has integrated the existing major national level health projects and programmes namely the Reproductive and Child Health II project, (RCH II), Universal Immunization Programme (UIP), the National Disease Control Programmes (NDCP) and AYUSH systems of Health (Ayurvedic, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy).
