Job Description
GIS Expert recruitment in Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority on contract basis
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors/Master Degree with an emphasis on GIS or Geoinformatics and other related disciplines. Desirable : Degree with GIS Certification will be added advantage.
Experience : 2 year and above
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Create spatial data, maps using GIS software and related equipment.
Hands on experience in various GIS and Remote sensing s/w.
Knowledge of the data exchange requirements.
Compile spatial data from a variety of sources including field observation, satellite imagery and existing maps.
Design and update spatial database.
Prepare metadata and documentation.
Present information to users and handling queries.
Effective written and oral communications skills.
Knowledge of GPS
Technical Skills : ArcGIS/QGIS/Open Source GIS and Remote sensing s/w
