Applications are invited for the temporary project position of Field Assistant one number to work in the RUSA project Phase -2, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai project entitled " Environmental Impact Assessment of Water bodies and its associated environment in selected altitudes of Southern Tamil Nadu".
1. Name of the Post: Field Assistant
2. No of Post: 01
3. The Project Work involves extensive field work and Sample Collection in the course of the project period.
4. Essential Qualification: A First Class M.Sc., in Environmental Science Zoology or other branch of Life Science
5. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge in Hydrobiology works Experience in GPS /GIS techniques. NET Passed / MKU Ph.D., entrance Passed candidate with interest to undergo the registration of Ph.D., Degree in Environmental Sciences / Zoology or other branch of Life Sciences with a Certification
6. Fellowship: Rs.10,000 (Consolidated) per month.
7. Duration: Twenty four months or completion of the RUSA project period as per the University Order/ whichever is earlier / as per the conditions of performance and periodical assessment.
8. Dispersal of the fellowship and contingent with the release of the grant from RUSA.
