Job Description

Job Summary: SpottyGo Global Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Magento Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Magento 2 development, including frontend, backend, full-stack, and API integrations. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Magento-based platform while ensuring seamless performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Development: Develop and customize Magento 2 themes and UI components.
Optimize website design, responsiveness, and user experience.
Implement HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Knockout.js, jQuery), and LESS/SASS for frontend development.
Improve website performance using caching, lazy loading, and CDN integrations.

Backend Development: Develop and customize Magento 2 modules and extensions.
Work with PHP, MySQL, and Magento’s architecture for backend development.
Implement custom features, functionalities, and integrations.
Optimize database queries and enhance platform security.

Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain end-to-end Magento features.
Collaborate with the team for seamless performance.
Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across the platform.
Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

API Development & Integration: Develop and integrate REST & GraphQL APIs with third-party services.
Work on payment gateways, and external service integrations.
Optimize API performance and security.
Manage API authentication and data exchange protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in Magento 2 development (Frontend, Backend, (Full-Stack)).
Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, PHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Knockout.js.
Experience with custom module development and Magento extension customization.
Proficiency in REST & GraphQL API development and integrations.
Familiarity with GIT version control, composer, and CLI commands.
Knowledge of Magento Cloud, caching mechanisms (Redis, Varnish), and security best practices.
Understanding of SEO optimization, performance tuning, and website speed improvements.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide efficient solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Magento 2 Certification is a plus.
Experience with PWA (Progressive Web Apps) in Magento.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Experience with headless Magento implementations.
