Analysts for CHAMAN and FASAL Projects on Contractual Basis
Eligibility
1.M. Sc. Agriculture (in Agronomy/Crop Physiology/Agro-meteorology/ Horticulture)/ M. Sc. Environmental Science with at least 1 year experience in Remote Sensing & GIS
2 .M. Sc. (Statistics/Agriculture Statistics) with at least 1 Year experience in Remote Sensing & GIS
3. M.Sc./M. Tech/ M. Sc (Tech) in Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geomatics/ Geoinformatics with at least 1 Year experience in Remote Sensing & GIS data analysis
Procedure of Selection: Candidates will be screened based on their eligibility and in the order of merit of as per their academic record and experience based on their Curriculum Vitae (CV). Screened in candidates will be called by the service provider for written test, in New Delhi.
* The minimum percentage of mark in the qualifying examination shall be 60%.

Job Responsibility: Using Remote Sensing Data for Crop Inventory; Research Activity in Horticultural Crops, Statistical Analysis, Database Management, Remote Sensing and GIS for Horticultural Development, Field experiments and field data collection, Yield Modeling.

The Centre has been established to provide in-season crop forecasts and assessment of drought situation using state of the art techniques and methodologies developed by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
