Job Description
1. SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Servicing the customers in a systemized way and preparation of suitable reports for analyzing and improving the efficiency.
2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Domestic:
- Dealing all type of customers (Wholesalers, Dealers, Retailers, End customers, Tailors, Institutional)
- Understanding customer requirement and thus converting enquires into orders.
- Acknowledging orders received by customers.
- Preparing Proforma Invoice and Maintaining records of enquires, orders and dispatches.
- Tracking sales orders to ensure that they are scheduled and sent out on time.
- Coordinating with Sales Executives when required.
- Customer follow-up for Clearing outstanding payment
- Coordinating with factory personnel for regular supply of needles.
- Resolving any sales and after sales related issues with customers.
- Interacting with Courier people for proper supply of goods or for any dispatch complaints.
- Preparing E-way bill for appropriate dispatches and maintain records
- Preparing all other possible documents for dispatch to courier people.
- Follow up with the ‘C’ customers for new orders.
- Checking availability of Packing materials ahead of dispatch in a planned manner. If materials are below stock level, purchase request had to be initiated well ahead of dispatch.
- Checking stock of Promotional items from time to time. If materials are below stock level, purchase request had to be initiated well ahead of dispatch.
- Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports.
- Updating pending order details and daily dispatch details.
- Sharing the dispatch details to customers
- Arranging dispatch for invoiced customers and Co-ordinating with packing department to ensure dispatches.
- Processing Monthly TA bills for Sales Executives
- Updating New customer details in Data Base/Tally Ledger
- Ensure correctness of prepared orders/Invoice.
- Obtaining KYC forms from new customers and ensuring correctness of the data’s before starting any business communication.
- Sales Promotion and marketing activities whenever required.
- Initiating tele sales whenever required.
- Mass mailing, Social Marketing
Export:

4. QUALIFICATION
- Graduate or Equivalent by qualification.
- Good communications skills and the ability to work in a team is essential.
- Good leadership skills are beneficial.
- Computer skills needed.

· BEISSEL was the first to set up a industrial sewing machine needle factory in India.
· The construction of the factory began on 10th March 1995 and this date is celebrated every year as “Founder’s Day”.
· The company began operations in 1997 under the name Altek Lammertz Needles Limited – a joint venture with Lammertz Industrienadel GmbH of Germany.
· Lammertz supplied machines and technology for Sewing Machine needles.
· Our technicians received extensive training in German plant of Lammertz.
· Lammertz bought back about 75% of our production. The needles were sold all over the world by Lammertz in the brand names of Lammertz, Rhein, Beka and Muva.
· Lammertz closed down in 2003 and since then we became an independent company.
· BEISSEL trade mark is now licensed by BMN BEISSEL Maschinennadel GmbH, Germany. The company’s name was changed to Altek BEISSEL Needles Limited.
· BEISSEL is now one of just two companies in the world to manufacture the entire range of industrial and household sewing machine needles.
· Needles are sold in India under the brand names of -
o BEISSEL–Extensive range of Industrial and Home sewing machine needles
o KING – Industrial and home sewing needles (product range limited to popular applications)
In addition, we also supply to leading world famous brands who sell in their own brand names.
