Job Description
“Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd., New Delhi is inviting application for Management
Trainees, specializing in
a. “Remote Sensing and GIS” with Experience in working with software such as ArcGIS,
ERDAS, SARSCAPE etc. and
b. “Information Technology and Software Development” with experience in developing proprietary software and data science (including Mobile App based) applications
Total number of vacancies : 8 (4 each depending upon the requirement of the Company) *reservation shall be applicable as per the Government guidelines
Qualification: For (a) Post Graduation in Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Spatial Information Technology with M.Sc. in Physics/ Agriculture/ Geology/ Geography/Statistics/Forestry or B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/Agriculture informatics/Environmental Engineering from recognized University with 55% or more marks in aggregate (for SC/ST 50% marks). For (b) Engineering / Graduation / Post Graduation in Information Technology from any recognized University with at least 55% or more marks in aggregate (for SC/ST 50% marks).
Terms & Remuneration : The training period will be for 2 years which can be terminated immediately if the performance is found unsatisfactory. The trainee shall be eligible for the absorption to the post of Administrative Officer (Scale I) on completion of the training period subject to satisfactory work performance. Consolidated pay for 1st year would be Rs. 40,000/- p.m. and Rs. 42,500/- p.m. for the 2nd year
