Job Description
- Day to day operations and deployment of Emergency Ambulances and OHC Management working under contract for the clients. The role will be to head the team of paramedics and drivers responsible for contributing to the provision of safe treatment, care and transport for service users who require either emergency or non-emergency admission to hospitals.
- Meeting client and reporting officer of client on a regular basis
- Addressing client complains
- Preparing weekly reports for the client
- Presentations to the client
- Management of manpower:
- Recruitment
- Training
- Development and management of staff to provide emergency services support for the contract location.
- Compliance with the terms of contract:
- Implementation of the service as per contractual requirements
- Compliance of client’s procedural requirement, c
- Coordination with in-charge at client site
- Providing management information and feedback.
- HSE Policy compliance:
- Compliance of HSE policies of the organization
- Implementation of safe work procedure
- Providing and use of PPEs
- Health check-ups and healthy practices
- Obtain feedback from employees
- Client and visitors and incorporate in policies and practices for improvement in services
- Operations: Overseeing day to day operations
- Staff deployment scheduling
- Implementation of HR Policies in general and disciplinary compliance
- Surprise audit /inspection; take corrective action when anything found lacking.
- Inventory management: See that OHC &Ambulance (or site location) maintains inventory of medicines, surgical items, consumables, equipment’s and any other things required at the location.
- Of all equipment – medical and non-medical in the OHC
- Readiness of Ambulance for the services
- Inventory maintenance of Medicines & consumables
- Cleanliness and upkeep of OHC & Ambulance (and location)
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of Ambulance vehicle & infrastructure
- Calibration of equipment
- Co-ordinating with Principal Employer for maintenance of civic infrastructure
- Budget Monitoring: Ensure that service budgets are regularly monitored and properly managed.
- Collection of Bill: Ensure the collection and analysis of management information.
- Management information and reporting: Keep Management update and furnish periodic reports
- Participate in service expansion and development: Lookout for business opportunity and actively participate in service expansion strategy making and policy making.

| Lifeline Foundation has now shifted towards a more inclusive highway accident relief; the current focus is on actively advocating Bystander First Aid & CPR to enable common citizens to save lives in post-accident trauma and ‘out of hospital cardiac arrest’. The aim is to train and empower passer-bys to act and save lives till ambulance relief reaches. |
| Its focus now is on training first responders (including industrial staff) in immediate care of emergencies and bystander CPR. It was approved by Director Industrial Safety & Health (DISH), Government of Gujarat as a training centre under the Factories Act. It is also working with industries, ports and mines to better Industrial EMS across the country. |
| Lifeline’s other current priority is to create Pan-Asian Trauma Care systems along with other Asian stakeholders. |
| Workshops and conferences to create public awareness and impart technical training to stakeholders, both medical and non-medical period is a key focus area for the Foundation. |
| Unlike other NGOs, Lifeline Foundation does not believe in creating infrastructure; adding brick and mortar, engines and tools.Experiences of other NGOs have made Lifeline realize that creating permanent infrastructure is the easy task; maintaining it is the more difficult and improbable one. |
| What it does is create a pool of resources and reach this to the end user. The aim is to be a bridge between all NGOs. |
