Manager GST/ Indirect Tax Jobs in Mumbai - Jignesh Kansara and associates Chartered Accountants

Job Description / Responsibilities

The role is an exciting mix of compliance and advisory work in Indirect Tax(GST). The candidate shall be responsible for Providing holistic GST  solutions to Client tax issues

The candidate should have exposure to:

·          GST, Service Tax,CST,  Maharashtra VAT law Provisions

·           Handling scrutiny assessment proceedings and other departmental matters

·          Good interpersonal skills 

·          Independently / jointly handling GST Audit / GST Returns.

·          Client liaison.

·          Department liasioning

·          Research on aspects/issues arising on GST

·          Appearing for Departmental Audit / Assessment

·          Preparing details/submissions for Departmental Audit  & scrutiny assessment cases. 

·         Updating clients on developments in the field of GST  which could have a bearing on their business

·          Handling tax advisory matters/ opinions

Desired Candidate Profile

·         Inter CA / Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years Post Article ship or B Com Graduate with minimum 5 years working experience with Chartered Accountant.

·         Should have knowledge of GST Act and Rules, Service Tax, CST and MVAT Act.

·         Should have a good research skill for tax and regulatory issues. 

·         Good IT skills i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·         Handling preliminary inquiries raised by clients

·         Should have client facing ability 

·         Experience of Service Tax Departmental Audit 3

·         Experience of MVAT Assessment.
