Role Overview
We are seeking Software Quality professionals to work as a Senior QA Engineer in our Quality Assurance team. You will be part of our Engineering team that is responsible for the delivered quality of our products.
This involves deep familiarity with productâÂÂs technical and functional requirements, and working directly with Developers and Client Services (typically located in different offices, in different countries).
It requires understanding of system architecture, financial markets and financial instruments.
You must also be familiar with testing tools, and methodologies, as well as product development life cycle models such as Agile.
Your Profile
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in testing software in capital markets domain
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Computers/IT
- Hands experience on any of these native exchanges like Nasdaq, Eurex, Euronext, LSE, CME or exchange protocols like ITCH/OUCH, Millennium, SOLA/SAIL, Optiq, Genium - MUST
- Familiarity with assettypes like Equities, Derivatives, FX, Bonds, Commodities etc
- Hands on experience on Unix like platform is a must
- Experience in software testing life cycle including analyzing specifications and developing effective strategies and executing the test plans
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Desirable Skills
- Working knowledge of FIX protocol
- Familiarity with major programming languages like Java, C++
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python
- Should have hands on experience in working with Automation tools like Selenium
- NCFM certifications in Derivatives, Capital markets etc
- ISTQB QA certifications
