Job Description
Research Associate Roles and Responsibilities:
- The RA will work closely with the lead research staff to perform various tasks including, but not limited to:
- Designing and piloting survey instruments, assisting with digitizing the instrument using the appropriate platform (ideally SurveyCTO)
- Hiring, training and managing staff at the project location to assist with primary data collection and monitoring.
- Supervising data collection and data entry, and ensuring data quality and productivity.
- Assisting with data cleaning, preliminary data analysis, and preparation of project reports and presentations.
- Reporting to the project team on all of the above-mentioned activities.
- Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics or related field.
- Knowledge of data analysis software is strongly preferred (ideally Stata).
- Willingness to live in Rajasthan and travel extensively to study areas is essential.
- Ability to work with a diverse team and balance multiple tasks according to project needs.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- We are looking for a commitment period of 11 months for this position.
