Job Description-
- Collect data via secondary and primary techniques on various automotive and transportation topics
- Independently analyse raw data and derive hidden trends in the global auto Industry
- Assist Research Manager in report writing
- Conduct primary interviews with product managers to gain industry-wide insights
- To estimate market size and forecast production volume of major auto components
- Company profiling of OEMs and tier-1/2 auto suppliers with primary interviews
- Participate in cost reviews with external and internal teams, and supplier representatives Create, Monitor and Manage global auto sales data using open source and subscribed database
- Liaise with global auto industry leaders
- Develop polished business writing skills
- Up to 10% travel within and outside India related to research, client visit, auto shows and conferences
- The job holder will have a strong interest in gathering knowledge of the automotive industry and become an industry expert
- Working knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft(Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, Strong analytical skills, Strong attention to detail
- Must be a team player. The job requires interfacing with people globally and this requires good relationship management
- Ability to work in a fast- paced and flexible environment.
- Ability to indulge mid-level executives in fruitful market discussion over phone and in person
