Job Description
- Assist in setting goals and long term vision with SMPPL Team:
- Aligns Electrical Projects economics with goals, standards, surface operational strategies, best practices and ensures execution.
- Interfaces between support functions and Asset Leads to establish and manage boundaries
- Creates an environment where members of the Project team make the day-to-day decisions
- Deliver on production, project costs, safety & environmental targets for Asset Team Electrical Projects
- Support execution of business plan
- Provide a customer support
- Consult Asset teams and review electrical technology available, cost savings, and standards
- Ensure that Electrical Goals are aligned with Asset teams for each area
- Support field and plants on electrical projects.
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
- Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
- Calculating client quotations.
- Negotiating tender and contract terms, closing sales by agreeing terms & conditions.
- Offering after-sales support services
- Administering client accounts
- Analysing costs and sales.
- Preparing reports for head office.
- Meeting regular sales targets.
- Recording and maintaining client contact data
- Co-ordinating sales projects.
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a profile will meet client needs.
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and project execution.
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
- Providing training and producing support material for the sales team.
- Make daily schedule for meetings and regular updates of their status.
- Report to Project Manager.
- Regular Follow-ups to the clients.
- You are a key member of the marketing team working to grow business. With your technical background you will be expected to work with design engineering to understand capabilities and then extrapolate these strengths to new markets and identify specific target customers.
- Proactively approach target customers and network in the appropriate industry with a view to creating viable business opportunities.
- Work with design engineering to fully understand what the customer’s requirements and issues are.
- Lead the responses to customer RFQs, this is working with project engineering to develop proposals and quotations that match the customer’s needs and objectives.
- Assist the Project Manager in the review of RFQ and contract documentation.
- Visit New Industrial area and generate enquiry.
- Maintaining client database.
- Profile should be target based.
