            Kisan ka Dukan was one of the Noble thoughts of Mr. N. Karunakaran wherein he thought of providing the society with absolute simple Food grains which are very natural and Healthy at the ground level. He witnessed a world wherein Farmers are being exploited continuously of money and Families are being exploited of Healthy Food by making them consume Natural food grains which are polished with the help of Toxic chemicals. Moreover, one of his major focus was Manually processed Food grains keeping in par to follow the most ancient and traditional modes of Nutritional Food consumption. In the due course of the process, his major intention was also to eliminate the Middlemen in the process of commercialization of the Food Grains from the Farmers to the Final Consumers (Families).

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE IDEA

            At Kisan ka Dukan, our major role is to gather the Farmers and Families at one standpoint and provide the Families with Fresh Natural vegetables, which are picked fresh and Grains, which are Hand pounded. These are provided at affordable prices. On the other hand, farmers need not sell the Edibles at a lesser rate since there are no middlemen involved in the complete process. In this manner, we are acting as a Direct link between the Farmers and Families. Kisan ka Dukan is unique in offering a Broad range (array) of Grocery Items to our eminent Families (Customers), which comprises Food Grains/Cereals/Pulses as per the need of them.

            This basic thought made Kisan ka Dukan gather more and more Families and nurture them with the right values of Nutrition. Connecting this complete team of Farmers and Families is what we aim finally and we make it a point to engage all our Family people in the fields along with the Farmers so that they can see and understand the hurdles of Farming right at the base level. The families can visit the Farms and assist the Farmers in cropping. Not only is it a Learning experience for them but also can they fetch the live proof regarding the fact that what they will be consuming in the near future is being planted by their own hands with/without or else the minimal usage of Harmful chemicals. Our Families are provided finally with all the different type of Earthly Foods at a complete lessened price which is also beneficial to the Farmers because they are paid genuinely for the amount which they have spend in the due course of Cropping the Food grains. In this manner they are protected from the Middle line of Vendors by whom they were exploited previously. Our Families pay a registration Fee based on which our Executives visit their homes five times a month. Once, the registration is done, our until now gathered 200 families are supplied weekly once with Fresh vegetables and Non vegetarian and Groceries are also provided once a month at a lesser price.

THE INPUTS ACHIEVED BY FARMERS AND FAMILIES

Families and Farmers are blessed with:

v  Natural Foods which are harvested manually and milled physically (It includes different types of Food grains, Cereals and various edibles),

v  Organic Foods which are grown in Biological manure such as Cowdung,

v  Nutritional Foods such as 'Poshana', 'Ragi Malt', 'Multiwholegrain Mix' and 'Wholegrain Mix' and

v  Yoga Foods such as Sprouts, Coconuts and Jaggery.

v  Moreover, all these edibles are supplied on terms of Free Delivery charges right at the Doorstep of the Families.

v  These are provided to them on a complete optimized price.

v  Farmers are also burdened less with their Profit reaping.

v  In maximum cases, we prefer only Manually processed Food grains, in which the Grains are splitted only with the Hands. This is done in order to retain the Nutritional values of these Edibles.

v  Further, these are packed in Eco friendly Bags and dispatched to the Families. 

            Mr. N. Karunakaran wants to spread the concept of 'Eating the Vital and Essential by Paying the Real and Actual.' Of course, our Farmers are also getting blessed by the second criterion of the above mentioned Quote. Not only are we the Back end Team but also the right Intermediaries between Crop producers and Food Consumers, rather a direct link.
