Job Description
- Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
- Managing and reporting budgets.
- To evaluate marketing campaigns
- Liaising with other internal departments such as operations for implementation of marketing events and campaigns
- To manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers. This can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers
- To arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials
- To develop strategic relations to secure sponsorship to assist in the publicity of marketing events and promotions
- To monitor competitor activity
- Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the campaign
- Seek new and improved methods to engage with current and future customers through the monitoring of the regional market in online and offline media.
