Job Description
1. Understand the price positioning of astral products in relation to competitors
2. Work on assessing the retailer's focus i.e. either retailer is emphasizing more on selling astral or competitor's product
3. Work on visiting the retail shops/stores as an actual customer to enquire about pre-determined parameters of products
4. Collect data on consumers, competitors, and market place and consolidate market observation & information into actionable items, reports, and presentations
5. Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers' preferences
6. Perform valid and reliable market research
7. Work on the SWOT analysis of the organization
8. Work to interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
9. Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 29th Nov'20 and 3rd Jan'21
3. are available for duration of 5 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Student/intern should be pursuing either an MBA (marketing) OR IMBA (marketing)
2. Must have a laptop to work on the project and for day-to-day reporting
3. Must have a two-wheeler at the base location
4. For the Tamil Nadu & Kerala region (Chennai) fluency in Tamil is mandatory & fluency in Malayalam would be preferred
5. For the Karnataka region (Bengaluru) the candidate must know the Kannada language
6. For the A.P. & Telangana region (Hyderabad) the candidates must know the Telugu language
7. For the Gujarat & Maharashtra (Ahmedabad/Mumbai) fluency in Gujarati is mandatory & fluency in Marathi would be preferred
8. For the Eastern India region (Kolkata) fluency in Bengali is mandatory & fluency in other eastern languages would be preferred
9. For the Northern India region (Delhi NCR) fluency in Hindi is mandatory & fluency in Punjabi would be preferred
