About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Contribute information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies
2. Help detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered
3. Set marketing schedules and coordinates with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels
4. Develop sales strategies and approaches for various products and services, such as special promotions, sponsored events, etc.
5. Answer questions from clients about product and service benefits
6. Maintain excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
7. Track sales data and work to meet quotas or sales team goals
8. Analyze trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
9. Create and present regular performance reports for managers and executives
10. Help to interview, hire, manage, and direct members of the company's marketing and sales teams
11. Assign specific employees to market and sales projects or client accounts as needed
12. Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures
13. Attend trade shows and travel to meet clients as needed
