About the internship
The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Meet and exceed sales targets
2. Successfully create a business from new and existing customer accounts
3. Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
4. Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
5. Build good working relationships
6. Understand the needs of our business customers, research the market & related products, and present the product or service favorably and in a structured professional way face-to-face
7. Listen to customer requirements, present appropriately to make a sale, and maintain & develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
8. Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
9. Review your own sales performance, aim to meet or exceed targets, attend team meetings, and share best the practices with our colleagues
