Job Description
Mechanical Design Engineer
Tasks:
- New product development - automation machines - preferably pharmacy automation machines
- Knowledge of industry standards for pharmacy automation machines
- Rapid prototyping - knowledge of 3dprinting and other rapid prototyping methods
- Mechanical components sizing and selection - bearings, ball screw, timing belt/pulley, motors etc
- Knowledge of GD & T
- Reverse engineering
- Should be sound in concepts of design for Manufacturing & Assembly
- Basic knowledge of Finite element analysis
- 3d CAD software - Solidworks, Autocad
- Basic knowledge of Pneumatics
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Good communication skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
Preferred: 3 to 5 years of experience
