Job description--Roles and Responsibilities
- Hardware design and Module development for EV / HEV (Electric/Hybrid) Inverters/motor controller
- Preparation of test specification, test plan and test reports
- Layout designing and drawings and schematics
- Responsible for verification and validation of developed hardware
- Solid understanding of Power Electronics Fundamentals
- Experience in Switched mode power supply designs, Gate Driver Design and IGBT selection for applications ranging from 400V to 1300VExperience in Digital & Analog circuits
- Experience in hardware development for automotive applications which includes requirement analysis, circuit design, worst-case analysis and simulation
- Ability to perform independent Test & Measurement activities using Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, Power Analyzer etc
- Knowledge of Communication Protocols I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN
- Willingness to co-ordinate with other engineering teams Mechanics, PCB Layout, Validation, and Production and bring about constructive solutions
- Products approval as per statutory requirement.
- Customer interaction for confidence building, if required.
- Understanding customer technical & commercial requirements & interaction with GPP customer for supply
- Co-designing and optimizing motor controller or other electronics components along with technical partner
- Technological resource planning / up-gradation, keeping the customer needs in mind;
- New Product Development
- Selection of plant and machinery
