Job Title: Media – Production Artist and Editor

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Qualification

This profile requires a diploma or a bachelor’s degree (engineering/design/ art/2D animation/3D animation/film-making) with 1-5 years of experience in the field or allied domains.
Applicant should be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures and should rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
As an editor, you are responsible for our ‘wow’ videos reaching the students across the globe.
You will be a crucial aspect of many products that involve videos.
The artist must be acquainted with simple solutions to keying and color correction.
Many independent and dependent tasks come under the artist’s purview.
Every role is an interdependent, sometimes cross-functional one.

Independent tasks include, but aren’t limited to – editing video clips, creating VFX elements and compositing, developing art boards, making 2D and/or 3D animations, building simulations and templates
Dependent tasks include, but aren’t limited to – designing storyboards and animatic, peer-reviews, creating elements and assets, building simulations and templates through application of computation and math in 3D animating and allied fields

The candidate should:

be creative and artistic
have drawing skills, at-least to the extent of stick-figures and gesture-lines
have excellent IT skills and working knowledge of CPU, Network and Graphics Accelerators
be patient and able to concentrate for long periods
be interested in art and design
be driven by a Creative vision that is beyond the calling of job and work
leadership to estimate requirement of resources
well under pressure and strict deadlines
be observant of people
be interested in film, music and television and sources on the internet
want to further skill-based learning every day
be ready for challenges and open to feedback
be up-to-date with tools and plugins and latest developments in the specific domain
strive to be original and inventive even in the face of harsh timelines
work well as part of a team and be able to take direction from seniors, directors and internal/external clients
be able to follow a brief and work on their own initiative
enjoy using computer technology
