About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. planning, developing, and implementing PR strategies
2. communicating with colleagues and key spokespeople
3. liaising with, and answering inquiries from media, individuals, and other organizations, often via telephone and email
4. collating and analyzing media coverage
5. Contacts in PR/Media houses.
6. Previous Internship experience with some PR Agency
7. organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days, and press tours
8. maintaining and updating information on the organization's website
9. managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media
sites such as Twitter and Facebook
10. sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities
11. fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives
12. managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
