Engagement of Medical Consultant (MC) recruitment in Reserve Bank of India-RBI on Contractual Basis

Qualification: i. The applicant should possess MBBS degree of any recognized University in the allopathic system of medicine;

ii. Applicants having post graduate degree in General Medicine can also apply for the post;

iii. The applicant should have a minimum of 2 (two) years of experience practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic as Medical Practitioner.

No.of Posts: 2  (1- unreserved and 1 reserved for OBC candidate)

The rate of remuneration and the duty hours (as envisaged now) is tabulated below:

Reserve Bank of India,Main Office Building Dispensary,6, Sansad Marg,New Delhi - 110 001. 11.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
Total duty hours per week: 20 hours 

Reserve Bank Staff Quarters, R.K.Puram, Sector – 6, New Delhi – 110022 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. (Monday to Saturday) Total duty hours per week: 18 hours 

Reserve Bank Officers’ Colony,Vasant Vihar, Poorvi Marg,New Delhi - 110057 7.15 p.m. to 8.45 p.m. (Monday to Saturday), Total duty hours per week: 09 hours

Rs 850/- per hour for the entire period of contract, i.e. 03 (three) years Out of total monthly remuneration so payable, a sum of Rs 1,000/- per month may be treated as conveyance expense.

Selection Procedure: The Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi, will be conducting an interview for selection of panel to engage 2 (two) posts (One unreserved and One reserved for OBC candidate) of Medical Consultant (MC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration. One medical consultant has to attend to the Bank’s dispensary at Bank’s premises, that is, 6, Sansad Marg, New Delhi – 110001 and another medical consultant has to attend to the dispensaries located at RBI Staff Quarters and RBI Officers’ colony located at R. K. Puram and Vasant Vihar respectively.
