Qualifications & Teaching/Research Experience In All The Subjects Of Broad Specialities: A Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule of the said Act, shall also fulfil the conditions specified in Sub-section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act. aforesaid). A MCI recognised postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D./M.S./M.D.S. or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
Assistant Professor: 3 years as Junior Resident in a recognized medical college in the concerned subject and one year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized medical college. (As per MCI Amendment notification dated 05 June 2017- No. MCI- 12 (1)/ 2017- Med. Misc/ 115698- Published in The Gazette of India- Extraordinary- Part III- Section 4, Dated June 8, 2017) and total teaching experience of 3 years after MD/MS in permitted/approved/recognized medical college/institution.
For Medical Superintendent : Essential Qualifications: (1) A Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule of the said Act, shall also fulfil the conditions specified in Sub-section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act. aforesaid). (2) Recognised MBBS Degree. (3) A recognised postgraduate qualification (M.D/ M.S or equivalent) (4) Ten years of Administrative experience in at least 500 bedded hospital attached to MCI recognised Medical Colleges/Institutes (and a total experience of fourteen years after MD/ MS in MCI recognised Medical Colleges/Institutes)
Pay Band : for Assistant Professor :Rs.15600-39100, Medical Superintendent : Rs. 37400-67000
Age : Assistant Professor65 years and Medical Superintendent-55 years.
Application Fee : Rs. 1000/- (for Unreserved/ OBC Category) and Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST Category). of Rs. 1000/- (for Unreserved/OBC Category) in the favour of “Finance Officer, UPUMS, Payable at Saifai .

With effect from such date, as the State Government may notify in this behalf, there shall be established at Saifai in district Etawah an Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, to be known as the Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Saifai, and all the assets, liabilities and employees of the Satellite Centre of Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Sciences already functioning at Saifai, Etawah under section 3 of the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Sciences Act, 1983 ( U.P . Act no .30 of 1983) shall deemed to be of the said Institute.
