Methods/Process engineer Jobs in Bangalore - Wave Mechanics

The job holder should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience: -

• Knowledge of Multi-discipline Engineering fundamentals
• Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering practices, processes and procedures
• Knowledge of CNC Machining 3 axis, 4 axis, 5 axis, Turning, Milling, Grinding.
• NC Programming /CAD/CAM/. Knowledge of Required Software like Solidcam. Vericut, Solid works Etc
• Knowledge of machines & their capabilities, selection of machines, work holding design, machining processes, basic maintenance of machines/ equipment, tooling and all other mechanical metal working operations
• Must be able to machine materials such as Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, kovar, titanium and other alloys.
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and other manufacturing related concepts, 5’S’, KAIZEN/ CIP, etc and must be capable of implementing them
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft parts, specifications and standards.
• Excellent managerial skills to handle large team sizes and must be a taskmaster
• Awareness of latest tools and methods in the Market. 

Key Accountability

• Generating BOM, Operation set in Napathra to complete by filling check list.
• Prepare Process planning.

  Machine selection

  Design. Special tools, Jigs & Fixtures.

• Drawing Feasibility study and process design.
• Prepare documents for Special Process like Heat Treatment and Surface finish treatment.
• Indent Cutting Tool, Holder & Accessories related to manufacturing.
• Creating PR for procurement.
• Raise query related Model, Surface treatment, Material, Process & getting resolved from customer end.
• Follow up of job work, cutting tools related to Engineering.
• Work schedule planning based on PPC input & communicate with NC Programmer for smooth workflow.
• Conduct internal team meeting to identify issues related to manufacturing.
• Involving in daily review meeting for reducing rejection.
• Co-Ordinating with marketing Until Part Approval at customer end.
• Co-Ordinating with surface treatment supplier until process establishment
• Co-Ordinating with tool supplier for better tool life management.
• Documents shall be uploaded in one drive.
• Maintaining 5S in workplace.
• Participating in kaizen.
