Job Description
1. Work with product manager and backend team to develop robust Android applications
2. Work on translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
3. Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
4. Work on ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
5. Work on identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs
6. Work on helping in maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization

1. Candidates with have hands-on experience of Android app development would be preferred
2. Must have strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
3. Must have familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
4. Must have knowledge of database concept, query, and experience in SQL
5. Must have a strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
6. Must have experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
7. Must have knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
8. Must have the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
9. Must have familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
10. Must have an understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
11. Must have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
12. Must have good experience of location-based applications, and experience on Google Map
