About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Improving app architecture to make the product more modular, scalable
2. Setting-up best practices and metrics for app performance
3. Developing new user-facing features using XML and Kotlin
4. Building reusable components and maintaining modularity for future use
5. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
6. Optimizing components to avoid memory leaks and improve rendering time
7. Ensuring availability across with range of devices and Android version
8. Maintaining quality and ensure the responsiveness of applications

Other requirements

1. Knowledge of languages like Kotlin and XML

2. Knowledge of MVP/MVVM design pattern, repository, and factory design patterns

3. Familiarity with Retrofit and RESTful APIs

4. Knowledge of maintaining local database (Room)

5. Knowledge of UI elements: Coordinator Layout, Constraint Layout, Chips, RecyclerView, etc.

6. Know-how of unit testing and kt-linter

7. Ability to understand version control, CI/CD, and write clean code
