The selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Implementing UI/UX design using React Native
2. Managing the integration of the front-end code with the backend
3. Implementing authentication procedures for different kinds of users
4. Integrating third-party APIs for the map, payments, notifications, etc. in the application
5. Deploying the application on Play Store (Android) and app store (iOS)
