Job Description
Key Responsbilities:
- This position requires the ability to create interactive computer-based training (CBT) in support of e-learning and distributed information processing.
- This includes the designing, developing and editing of animation, graphics, audio, video, and other creative techniques to develop interactive training systems.
- The CBT development process requires designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging and implementing programming languages such as HTML5, Object Oriented Java Script, CSS, XML, and Action Script 2.0 or higher at an intermediate to advanced level.
- The CBTs may be deployed to interactive database-driven web sites and integrated into multimedia packages.
In addition to creating CBTs, the position is responsible to be the lead for developing the official marketing and branding content that will be used for digital marketing and promotion purposes. Additionally, the position involves creating terminal and enabling learning objectives and supporting learning content, in collaboration with a subject matter expert. Storyboards are the primary method for developing and programming the courseware during all phases of the project. As Multimedia lead, the position also requires creating and analyzing assessments to evaluate learning effectiveness and instructional improvement opportunities, including pre-tests, post-tests, and quizzes.
The position requires being comfortable with the use of industry software tools to integrate multimedia solutions. Also involved with the position is the ability to quickly learn or familiarize oneself with new software/processes and to create/use templates to standardize workflow. The work also entails demonstrating and utilizing effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills. A critical responsibility is preparing and handling multiple projects, simultaneously, to include managing design concepts and the development and implementation of multimedia products, within assigned deadlines. File management and organizational skills are key for efficient and timely support.
The position requires working independently and with other teammates and customers in an ethical and service oriented environment.
